Free initial review
We review the sale and available public record before you owe anything.
Fees · No upfront cost
Equity Recovery Law Group handles surplus proceeds claims on a contingency basis. There is no cost for an initial review, and no fee unless money is actually recovered on your behalf.
Every engagement includes a clear, written fee agreement before any work begins on your matter.
How the fee works
We review your situation and the public record at no charge. If we agree to take on your matter, our fee is a percentage of the funds actually recovered, and that fee is set out in a written agreement before any work begins.
California does not impose a fixed statutory cap on attorney fees for this type of claim. Instead, the fee must be reasonable under the State Bar's Rules of Professional Conduct, taking into account the work involved, the risk, and the result obtained.
What determines whether you owe a fee
No hourly billing, no surprise invoices, and no fee unless we recover money for you.
